We are on a mission here at Dynamic Strength and Conditioning.

That mission is to create the most supportive and motivating environment to help you reach your fitness and nutritional goals.

We understand you want to feel better.

You want to look better.

And you want to perform at your highest level.

We also understand that it’s not easy.

It’s especially not easy to do alone.

Despite a drastic increase in nutritional information, diets, and products available over the years, we as a country have not gotten any healthier.

In fact, 70% of Americans remain overweight or obese and the amount of overweight teenagers has doubled since the 1980’s.

There is a massive disconnect going on and we are here to make a change!

We are here to make losing weight easier.

We are here to clear the confusion and frustration while providing support and direction in working towards your goals.

Our DSC Nutrition Coaching Program is here to help you improve your health and reach your individual goals while learning and instilling lasting habits that you can take with you, long after the program has ended.

On November 5th we will be starting our next Nutrition Coaching Program and we would love for you to join us!

Let's get into the 5 reasons why you should join our next Nutrition Coaching Program.

1| Fat-Loss

Most of our members join our program with a fat-loss goal in mind.

As coaches, this gets us excited as this is one of the main objectives of our program.

Let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to look better naked?

But first, notice that we said fat-loss and not weight-loss.

There’s a big difference here.

Fat-loss refers to a reduction of just fat.

Weight-loss on the other hand, refers to any reason for a reduction of weight on the scale.

This can be loss of weight in the form of fat, water, or even muscle.

One example would be if you sat in a sauna for 30-minutes and lost 5lbs of water weight as a result.

Yes, you lost 5lbs on the scale, but did that help your overall health or move you towards your goals?

Probably not as you still have the same amount of body-fat as you did before you went in the sauna.

(Read more on why scales suck, HERE!)

We focus mainly on fat-loss in our program.

This focus keeps you building muscle and strength (which helps burn more fat and give you a more toned/athletic look) while decreasing body-fat.

When it comes to fat-loss, there isn’t a cookie cutter approach as many factors impact fat-loss and fat-gain like your nutrition, stress, sleep, hydration, exercise, and hormones.

Our program attacks fat-loss through a holistic approach by making sure you are:

  • Not overeating

  • Not undereating

  • Exercising weekly

  • Eating mainly whole, unprocessed foods

  • Eating mindfully

  • Staying consistent and accountable

  • Sleeping well and practicing stress management skills

2| Navigation

Low carb?

Low fat?

Keto?

Organic?

Paleo?

Cleansing?

Today there is more information, products and gimmicks than ever before.

This makes it more and more challenging to navigate through what is valuable information and what is just good marketing or outdated science.

Our program aims to educate our members on how to make better choices and see through (for lack of better term) B.S.

Our goal is to make improving your nutrition easy, sustainable and less frustrating!

With our program, all you need to do is implement our strategies.

We will teach you how to eat, how much, and when -- to help you reach your goals.

3| Support & Accountability

A couple of the most popular aspects of our program are the group support and coach accountability.

This is done mainly through our private Nutrition Coaching group page.

Here, our coaches post educational videos, quick tips, articles, and weekly goals which our members then put into action.

Our members share questions, ideas, recipes, and help motivate and support each other.

This support system is crucial for the success of our members.

They finally don't feel like they are going at this alone.

This is the #1 reason why diets fail and most people cancel their gym membership in the first 4-weeks.

There is no support.

You will learn from each other, support each other, and push each other to get better every single day.

And you can have fun doing it! 😀

During our program our coaches will be checking in with you weekly to see how things are going, how you’re doing on your weekly goals, and where we can help.

Imagine doing things right and eating the right foods 80-90% of time vs. the typical 30% of the time.

This is where the magic happens!

Having our coaches in your corner is crucial to helping you stay motivated and consistent throughout the program.

4| Sustainability

Let’s talk about diets.

Our DSC Nutrition Coaching Program is not a diet.

The definition of a diet is: a special course of food to which one restricts oneself, either to lose weight or for medical reasons.

The key word in that definition is "restricts", but more on that later.

Some well known diets are The Atkins Diet, Paleo, Nutrisystem and South Beach Diet.

These are billion dollar industries that are great at marketing and offer the world, but deliver nothing.

And the research agrees.

A group of UCLA researchers analyzed 31 long-term diet studies. Participants on these various diets stayed on them for 2 to 5 years.

Their findings?

Some people lost weight in the beginning, but only 5-10% of their body-weight.

The result? The majority of people regained all of their weight, plus some.

The health benefits of dieting like decreasing blood pressure and disease risk? None.

In fact, researchers believe they would have been better off not dieting at all from the stress of losing weight and putting it back on. The yo-yo effect of dieting actually can increase our risk of disease.

Why?

Diets lack support.

They lack the accountability you would get from a DSC coach checking in with you weekly.

They’re overwhelming and do little to educate you so you can sustain your efforts once the diet is over.

We take the opposite approach. In fact, we are the anti-diet.

To help our members sustain their incredible results we build our program around:

  • Support

  • Education

  • Direction

So that when you leave our program, you have the knowledge and skills to make the right choices on your own for the long haul.

5| Results

The key to our program is not just immediate results.

It is the lasting results and lifestyle change!

We have seen people make quick progress with fad-diet programs and challenges.

This is typically due to a drastic reduction in calories, or a macronutrient (e.g - carbohydrates), and a big loss in water weight.

The problem is, these programs are both impractical and not sustainable.

Our goal is to provide our members with the very best nutritional education and habit changes so they can make the right choices on their own.

We've had some incredible results during our Nutrition Coaching Program.

What I am most proud of is how well our members continue to do once they leave the program.

Members have ingrained better habits and choices and have continued to lose weight, build muscle and improve their health.

Our goal as coaches is to help you see fantastic results, learn about better nutrition and use the tools you learn throughout the rest of your life.

Our next Nutrition Coaching Program starts November 5th and we would love to have you join us!
